Two wide ornate gold bands on the barrel. Fitted with a large vintage 14k Waterman Ideal medium flex nib that writes a fine to double broad line. Professionally adjusted nib, ultra smooth, and capable of writing at any time when not flexed. The hard rubber of this pen is in fantastic condition. The two ornate gold bands have some plating loss and brassing, as shown in the pictures. Otherwise, this is an ultra clean, a gorgeous, and a very desirable pen with a large vintage 14k flexible nibs. No brand imprints on the exterior of the pen body. Eyedropper filler. Fully serviced. Unknown country and year of manufacture.

Comments: Conklin Crescent 30 SNL ring-top fountain pen in black chased hard rubber and gold trim. Domed cap with a gold-filled ring-top piece. Very elegant pen design. Fitted with an 14k Conklin Toledo #2 wet noodle nib that writes a medium to quadruple broad line, which are MONSTER lines. Professionally adjusted nib, smooth, and capable of writing at any speed when not flexed. Perfect black coloring in the cap and barrel. End area of the barrel has quite a few scuffs and scratches. Imprint with the model is missing or it has faded over time. Otherwise, this is an extremely clean pen. Very clean gold trim. Great imprints on the barrel. Pen measures 4 3/8" long (capped) and 5 3/4" long (posted). This pen offers great balance when used as a posted pen. Crescent filler, which internally has the same mechanism as a lever filler pen. Comments: From my personal collection ... Moore L-92 flat-top fountain pen in Black Chased Hard Rubber and gold trim. Clipped cap. Full sized pen. Fitted with a 14K Moore Wet Noodle nib that writes a Medium/Broad to Quadruple Broad line, which is a MONSTER LINE! In my flexibility scale from zero to 100, this nib is graded at 100, meaning it is as flexible as a nib will get in a fountain pen. Likewise, in my responsiveness scale from zero to 10, this nib is graded at 9. Both of those attributes make this an ultra, ultra rare, a very desirable and very valuable flex nib. Professionally adjusted nib, ultra smooth, and capable of writing at any speed when not writing. This nib also has the very slim and very long tines. This is a factory original nib, not a modified or altered nib. It is not a distressed nib that has reached or passed its metal fatigue level (there are quite a few of these distressed flex nibs out there in the market place as some folks are exerting way much pressure than what those flex nibs were designed and manufactured for!!!). This is an absolutely gorgeous pen and in mint condition. It has seen very little use in its lifetime. The black rubber is in perfect condition and very lustrous color. The chasing in the hard rubber is very crisp and shiny. Gold trim is also in mint condition. Great imprints, both on the flat end of the barrel and on the side of the barrel. Lever filler. Serviced.
