Nib condition: Excellent       Thread: Excellent     Clarity: N/A
Nib Type: Fine, Firm              Imprints: No             Length: 5 1/8”
PRICE: $260 SOLD

COMMENTS: A very rareWaterman pen …. This is a Waterman pen made in India. It has most of the features of a Taperite model from the 1940s. However, the end cap has a domed shaped black jewel, instead of being metal and integrated as part of the cap/clip. Its feed has diagonal ribs instead of the classic spoon feed present in Waterman pens from this era. Imprinted on the barrel is “ Waterman - Made in India – W2”. There are records indicating the Waterman Pen Company manufactured pen in India. This was done through a license granted to Mhatre Pens & Plastics, an Indian pen manufacturer in Mumbai, India. Fitted with a 14K Waterman Ideal #2 Rigid nib that writes a firm fine line. Smooth writer. The cap has some wear in its exterior. Otherwise, this is a very clean pen. Lever filler. New sac. Made in India.
