VERY RARE!!!
Pen P001 - Parker Duofold Sr. - $1,400 SOLD
Italian Gold Overlay, Jeweler’s Ornate Band, 1920’s
Overall Grade: Excellent Metal:Shiny Color: Excellent
Nib condition:Excellent Thread: Excellent Clarity: N/A
Nib Type: Firm Fine Imprints: No Length: 5 3/8"
PRICE: $1400 SOLD
COMMENTS: An opulent Parker Duofold Sr. fountain pen with gold overlay made by a Italian jeweler. The first thing you notice in this pen is its massive gold overlay throughout the entire pen (even the bottom tassie has a gold overlay). Then your eyes will gravitate towards the astonishing gold band at the top of the cap. This gold band is ornamented with an intricate pattern of 7 squares, 7 rhombuses, and 7 brilliant-shape motif. Unlike a regular Duofold pen with its flat top, the top of the cap has a slight dome in overlay gold. The clip of the cap is engraved “PAT. SEP 5 16 PARKER”. The nib is engraved “PARKER DUOFOLD PEN MADE IN USA” and it writes a silky smooth and firm fine line. There is no texture finish on barrel, cap and tassie’s overlay. Button filler system. This pen is in outstanding condition. It would be a mint pen if it were not for a few minor dents, two “usual” small spots of brassing on the clip-ball and upper part of the clip, and a screwing mark on the barrel where its screws into the cap. Sac has been replaced. Pen made in the 1920’s … a true statement of elegance and opulence!

Pen P123 - Parker Vacumatic Oversize – $295 SOLD
1st Generation, Double Jewel, Emerald Pearl, Gold Trim,
Cap Issues, Flex & Wet Nib, Canada, 1937
Overall Grade: Very Good Metal: Very Good Color: Very Good
Nib condition: Excellent Thread: Outstanding Clarity: N/A
Nib Type: Med Flex: F-B Imprints: No Length: 5 3/8" PRICE: $295 SOLD
COMMENTS: Parker Vacumatic Oversize, 1st generation double jewel in Emerald Pearl with gold trim. Black jewels. Fitted with a 14k Parker USA dual tone and slight/medium flex nib (leaning a lot more towards a medium flex) that writes a fine to broad line. Amazing wet and juicy nib. This is a very well preserved nib as the dual colors display flawlessly. Great color luster throughout the pen. This would be a near mint pen if it were not for the cap issues: There is a hole and two hairlines in the cap lip, reflected on the price of the pen. This is a cosmetic issue as the three gold rings nicely hold up the rigidity of the cap, even when posted. This is "the Big Boy of Vacumatics" and a highly collectable pen, even more with a flexible nib. Lockdown filler. New sac. Made in Canada in 1937.
