COMMENTS: Very Rare … a highly collectable Parker 51 Double Jewel in black with Window Pane caps. Nice even and matching colors between the pen and pencil and between the blind cap and the barrel of the pen. No gap or misalignment between the blind cap and the barrel. Vacumatic filling system. 14K gold nib that writes a silky smooth fine line. Pencil has the twist mechanism and uses 0.7 standard pencil lead. The date code on the barrel of the pen is very legible and reads <<Parker “51” made in USA 6>>. The markings on the cap read “1/8 14K GOLD FILLED MADE IN USA.” The box is included with this set and is also in very good shape with minor blemishes. I consider this to be a near mint set. Made in USA in 1946.

Nice even and matching colors between the three pieces. Fountain pen has aerometric filling system and writes a fine line. Ball Pen has clicker mechanism and uses standard Parker ball pen refills (one included) and is in near mint shape (sometimes you find the rare 51 ball pens, but their “clicker” mechanisms do not function well anymore.
