The following New Old Stock (NOS) Sheaffer pens are part of a consigment lot. All pens are new in the box, never inked. They were manufactured by Sheaffer USA in Fort Madison, Iowa prior to the closing of their manufacturing facility in the USA. Sheaffer pens are famous for their ultra smooth nibs whether XF or BB Stubs. These pens are priced to sell quick, being sold at a discounted price from MSRP's from almost 20 years ago, making them a very good deal.

Pen SH10 - Sheaffer Prelude
Sheaffer Prelude pens. The Preludes are great quality pens, very inexpensive, very reliable, and fitted with ultra smooth Sheaffer nibs. A unique characteristic of all Sheaffer pens and nibs made in USA for over eight decades was high quality pens with ultra smooth nibs. These nibs are absolutely wonderful writers and come in two options: 22K gold-plated nibs in pens with gold trim, and chrome plated nibs in pens with black trim. Preludes are 5 1/4" long (capped). Cartridge converter filling mechanism. Converter, 2 ink cartridges, instructions, red leatherette gift box included. NOS, new, never used. Ball Point has the twist mechanism. Ball point refill included. Made in USA in 1990s.

What Sheaffer called a "Stub" nib is the equivalent of a BB Stub nib which writes a line with approximately 1.0mm in width. Please refer to pictures of the Stub nib and writing samples with that nib in Pen SH01.
Comments: Sheaffer Legacy CP4 Civil War. Limited edition pen of 1,865 pens made. The pens are Sheaffer Legacy in sterling silver which have been nicely engraved with a guiloche pattern. The famously acclaimed Classic Pens company in England has nicely customized these pens. The pattern is different between the Washington and Richmond models. Each pen comes with an outer and inner box, a Classic Pens CP4 Civil War Pens colored book, and Sheaffer instructions. Fitted with an 18K inlaid gold nib, only medium width available. This model was inspired by the famous Sheaffer PFM model. Cartridge converter filling mechanism, pen converter and two ink cartridges included. This pen has the Touchdown filling mechanism. You can also use Sheaffer Skrip ink cartridges or use a Sheafer standard converter. NOS, new, never used. Made in USA in 1997. MSRP for this pen was $1,250. Your price is $925.
Note: These pens have some patina and can be gently polished with a sterling silver jeweler's cloth.

A Limited Edition number written by hand has been assigned to that certificate. Sheaffer Legacy II fountain pen. Available in copper, palladium and black lacque colors. Fitted with an 18K inlaid gold nib, only medium width available. This model was inspired by the famous Sheaffer PFM model. Touchdown filling mechanism. This pen can also Sheaffer Skrip ink cartridges (two included) or a Sheaffer standard converter. Another unique feature is the huge crystal inkwell, handmade by Daum, one of the most famous and acclaimed glassmakers in France since 1878 ... http://www.daum.fr/#. The inkwell is transparent and has a translucid orange feather with light blue tip. Inkwell was signed at the bottom by the artisan who handcrafted that individual piece. NOS Sheaffer pen trays with slots for 12 pens. Capable of holding large pens like a Pelikan M800, Parker Duofold Sr, etc. Made out of burgundy plastic with a grey and soft liner with rounded slots to nicely store fountain pens, roller balls, ball points and pencils. Sheaffer logo and white dot on tnhe front of the tray frame. Very sturdy and capable to endure a lot of use, stacking or multiple trays on top of each other, etc. The two lower pictures with pens on the trays are for display only, and those pens are not included with the trays.
