COMMENTS: This is a very early Mabie Todd Blackbird eyedropper pen in black chased hard rubber. Clipless and slip-on cap. Blackbird imprint on the feed and nib. Fitted with a 14K Mabie Todd Blackbird #2 medium flex nib that writes a fine Border line with an extra fine) to double broad line. Fairly smooth nib, capable to write at any speed when not flexed. Pen exterior has been reblackened. Section had a hairline that has been reglued. Eyedropper filler. Made in England in the 1910s.

COMMENTS: Aurora 88 Duocart with black barrel and chromed cap. Duocart stands for double cartridge. This pen model was designed with a device to store a second cartridge inside the barrel, and hence the name Duocart. Very few Duocart models are found with the device that holds both cartridges in place inside the barrel ... this pen still has that device. Like the 88 predecessors, the Duocart has a semi-hooded nib. Fitted with a 14K firm nib that writes a fine line. Minor spots of brassing on the cap. Otherwise, this is a very clean pen. Cartridge filling mechanism. Two boxes of factory original Aurora ink cartridges are included with this pen. Made in Italy in the 1960s.
